My name is LeaAnne and I love to share my passion for the many handcrafted things I create.
I’m a wife, special education teacher, the media/sound person at church, a small business owner and someone who loves seeing others find joy in something that I made. Crafts aren’t just something I do in the classroom, with 20+ rambunctious teenagers. I spend many hours in the craft room, at home, mastering my next project. I love giving my family a handcrafted item, along with something else that they want for Christmas. I start the journey in January and create something that will be personal and meaningful to each of them (immediate and extended family).
Over the years, I’ve created personalized Christmas ornaments, birthday boards, and family name tiles, just to name a few. I started with vinyl but the newest additions to my crafting space are my sublimation printers! Yes, I said printers! This has opened a whole new world!! Car coasters, pillow cases, tumblers, and I even designed my own door mat! I love that sublimation allows me to expand upon the vinyl blanks I’ve used for many years.
I love the challenge of learning something new! I teach my students, often through experience, that even when we don’t know how something is going to turn out, to still give it a shot. Some our favorite experiences have been the “almost epic fails”. They’re usually the most fun and come out the coolest!
